Luiz Rogerio Lopes Silva
PhD in Information Management from the Federal University of Paraná (2022), with a doctoral sandwich period in Humanities at Universidad Carlos III of Madrid (2021–2022). Holds a Master’s degree in Communication from the Federal University of Paraná (2018) and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication – Advertising and Propaganda from the Tuiuti University of Paraná (2011). Permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Information Management, with research interests focused on infocommunicational vulnerabilities in digital platforms, including content moderation and hate speech (homophobia, misogyny, gerontophobia, and fatphobia). Currently serves as a consultant to the Secretariat for Information Management, Innovation, and Evaluation of Educational Policies (SEGAPE/MEC). Member of the Information MediaLab research group, where he conducts and supervises research on platform studies, digital vulnerabilities, and the representation and organization of information.
